Gender, diversity and inclusivity
Diversity, inclusion, and belonging: one of the key priorities of our work in the student government is to transform HKS into a truly diverse and inclusive community where every student, faculty and staff member has a sense of belonging and feel safe to embrace their identities.
We will engage with HKS students in implementing a concrete plan of action aiming to advance diversity, inclusion, and belonging in all aspects of HKS’s life. We will also work toward the realization of the benchmarks set by the Harvard University Presidential Task Force on Inclusion and Belonging. Our priorities include 1) recruitment of diverse students, faculty, and personnel; 2) incorporation of diversity in the curriculum; 3) improving the classroom climate and reporting mechanisms at HKS; and 4) recognizing and celebrating the multiple and intersectional identities of students and not only.
